Welcome to the School of Advanced Studies at University of Phoenix. Our doctoral programs focus on leadership, scholarship and practice in several content areas:

These degree programs are designed to prepare today's leaders for tomorrow's world through rigorous, intensive curricula that provide learners with the acumen and intellectual competence to develop, produce, and publish high-quality original research. Throughout these programs, learners embark on an intellectual journey that will enrich their professional and personal lives.

The doctoral programs within the School of Advanced Studies at University of Phoenix have established the following goals for graduates:

• Demonstrate competence in creating new models to explain, predict, and improve performance of organizations within a doctoral discipline.
• Conduct research as a foundation for creative action.
• Exercise leadership to influence policy decisions.
• Manage and lead complex organizations through strategic decision-making.

These goals are furthered through the School of Advanced Studies' Scholar, Practitioner, Leader Model which combines established theory and practical skills and permeates the curriculum of each program. Using this highly collaborative learning model, the programs leverage the knowledge and expertise of adult learners and faculty. This approach allows our faculty to contribute their expertise and challenge learners to progress to the forefront of their disciplines.
